About us
Megawatt power today hangs on the medium-voltage grid: complicated, slow, expensive and regulated. eLoaded removes that bottleneck. Instead of distributing AC across a site, eLoaded converts the grid connection to DC once and runs a DC grid at 1,500 VDC – still low voltage, but with megawatt capacity. Charging points, battery storage, solar, heat pumps and industrial loads connect anywhere along a DC ring. Energy follows linear paths, can be connected to anything by a software command, and stays in the owner's grid until the owner decides to release it. eLoaded calls this STREAMING ENERGY.
The eLoaded DCgrid is a complete platform: DCCube power units and the MS-DC Transformer at the grid connection, the DCBus ring, DCSource units for DC-coupled storage, and eLiix – the world's smallest HPC dispenser – at the vehicle. DC-eOS, eLoaded's energy operating system, manages power, storage, tariffs and charging across the whole site and keeps fleet data on the customer's own platform. The system delivers up to 30 % fewer losses than AC, 6.3 MW from one connection, and MCS truck charging up to 1,250 VDC and 1,400 A per charging point.
Founded in 2017 and based in Innsbruck (Austria) and Aichach (Bavaria), eLoaded supplies bus depots, truck fleets, public charging hubs and industrial sites across Europe and Southeast Asia. As technology partner of the STRAloaded consortium, eLoaded is building 25 sites of Germany's federal truck-charging network along the motorways – 140 charging points, 79 of them MCS, with DC-coupled storage at every site. At CES, eLoaded presents the DC grid for the US market: depots, transit, utilities and industry.

Products & Services
eLoaded delivers the complete DC grid from one source: planning and engineering, the DC hardware, the DC-eOS software, installation and commissioning, and service and operation. One grid connection is converted to DC once; the eLoaded DCgrid then carries megawatts at low voltage (1,500 VDC) around the site, with DC trunks up to 6,000 VDC between sites. Every source and every consumer – charging, storage, solar, heating, chilling, machines – connects to the same ring and is managed by one energy operating system.
Hardware - DC grid components from grid connection to charging point (see below)
• DCBus – the 1,500 VDC low-voltage ring that carries megawatts across the site. Aluminum conductor pair, any consumer or source connects anywhere along the ring, redundant in both directions. DC trunks up to 6,000 VDC link sites and energy hubs.
• MS-DC Transformer – the grid connection straight to DC: medium voltage in, DC bus out, with drastically reduced magnetizing and no-load losses. Bidirectional and grid-code compliant.
• DC-coupled BESS – LFP battery storage on the DC bus via DCSource units: peak shaving, grid services and energy shifting without a second conversion stage.
• Heating and chilling – heat pumps and chillers fed directly from the DC bus, so thermal loads become controllable grid participants and share one connection with charging and production.
• Solar – PV fields coupled DC-side to the ring, feeding storage, charging and loads without an AC inverter stage.
• Charging solutions – CCS and MCS up to 1,250 VDC and 1,400 A per charging point: DCCube power units, eLiix – the world's smallest HPC dispenser, floor or ceiling mounted – and the HPC supracharger for public hubs.
Software - DC-eOS energy operating system, licensing and integration
• DC-eOS – the energy operating system of the DC grid: manages power, storage, tariffs and charging across the whole site, keeps fleet and energy data on the customer's own platform (sovereign operator model), and is available as a licensed platform for partners.
