acoust IQ live builds on acoust IQ pro and is used with the acoust IQ enterprise app to enable web-based remote control of measurements. A local operator positions an iPhone or iPad with a Class 1 microphone, while an expert starts and stops recordings, sets markers and monitors level-time histories in real time in a browser, from next door or across the globe. The preview stream is compressed, so low bandwidth is sufficient. Raw data and metadata are transferred to the cloud in the background for full-resolution analysis. Multiple devices can be controlled in parallel and aligned via GPS timestamps. All metadata (GPS, timestamps, photos, notes) remain linked to the datasets. The interface supports multi-language operation and is designed so that on-site staff with basic technical knowledge can assist, while remote experts supervise and execute the measurement.
