SpiNNaker2 is the atomic hardware building block of our large-scale system, the SpiNNcloud. The fast chip2chip links used to interconnect the SpiNNaker2 chips ensure the real-time response when scaling up. This novel combination of network topology and high-speed links enables the seamless assembly of large size systems. By interconnecting thousands of SpiNNaker2 chips through high-speed links, we created a High-Performance Computing system capable of real-time AI processing at an unprecedented scale: our SpiNNcloud platform.
