Last Mile Semiconductor (LMS) is an independent fabless semiconductor company, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Dresden, Germany, in the heart of Silicon Saxony. LMS builds a scalable platform for the physical AI edge, the layer where machines, sensors and devices sense their surroundings, decide locally and stay in sync in real time. Based on the NR+ standard, it integrates AI compute, quantum-safe security and wireless connectivity in the licence-free 1.9 GHz band into a single chip. This serves smart energy, smart buildings, smart cities and industrial applications, independent of mobile networks.
