Products & Services
acoust IQ is a system for mobile, precise, and cloud-based sound level measurement – with a focus on seamless digital workflows. The system consists of an iOS app, a Class 1 microphone, and optional cloud and remote capabilities. Three product levels, one mission: rethinking the way we measure.
- acoust IQ basic
Transforms an iPhone or iPad into a Class 1 measurement device with integrated report generator, metadata management, GPS tagging, and offline functionality.
- acoust IQ pro
Enables cloud upload, in-browser data processing, ASAM ODS / ATFX export, and efficient data handling for collaborative team workflows.
- acoust IQ live
Remote control and monitoring of measurements – synchronized globally, multilingual, and designed to be accessible for non-experts.
acoust IQ is scalable, intuitive, and standards-compliant. Ready for use in environmental monitoring, industrial applications, research, and any field where acoustic excellence matters.
acoust IQ basic
The acoust IQ-App turns an iPhone or iPad into a high-performance Class 1 sound level meter using a compatible external microphone. The app provides a guided, standards-compliant workflow from acquisition to documentation, including non-destructive editing, metadata capture (images, notes, GPS/Galileo, speech-to-text), template-based reporting, and seamless export. Designed for professional use in industry, environmental work, construction, and research.
acoust IQ pro
acoust IQ pro is the cloud-based extension to acoust IQ basic. It provides a central web environment for measurement data captured with the acoust IQ app on iPhone or iPad in combination with a Class 1 microphone. After upload to the cloud, raw data and metadata are organized by project, then inspected and processed in the browser. Users can review level- time- histories, third-octave spectra and key metrics, perform marker-based, non-destructive segmentation, and compare runs or locations side by side. All metadata such as GPS positions, timestamps, photos and notes remains linked to the datasets. Results export in ASAM ODS / ATFX or CSV/ASCII for downstream tools. acoust IQ pro enables teams to collaborate across sites on a shared cloud foundation and to integrate acoust IQ measurements into existing analysis pipelines.
acoust IQ live
acoust IQ live builds on acoust IQ pro to enable web-based remote control of measurements. A local operator positions an iPhone or iPad with a Class 1 microphone; an expert starts/stops recordings, sets markers, and monitors level time histories in real time via a browser—from next door or across the globe. The preview stream is compressed so that low bandwidth is sufficient; raw data and metadata are synchronized asynchronously to the cloud for full-resolution analysis. Multiple devices can be controlled in parallel; alignment uses GPS timestamps in the millisecond range (not phase-synchronous). All metadata (GPS, timestamps, photos, notes) remain linked to the datasets. The interface supports multi-language operation and is designed so that non-expert on-site staff can assist while remote specialists supervise and execute the measurement.
