About us
German Bionic is a global robotics firm that develops and manufactures smart power suits and other wearable technologies. It was the world’s first company to deliver connected exoskeletons for the workplace, applying self-learning and artificial intelligence to support lifting movements and prevent poor posture, and thereby becoming an intelligent link between humans and machines. The German Bionic smart power suits and wearables protect the health of workers and markedly reduce the risk of accidents and injury to improve work processes. In recognition of this innovative technology, which puts people back at the center of Industry 4.0, German Bionic has received numerous awards including the CES 2023 “Best of Innovation” Award, the Fast Company “Innovation by Design Award”, the German Entrepreneur Award, and a nomination for the prestigious Hermes Award at the Hannover Messe. German Bionic is headquartered in the USA and Germany with offices in Boston, Berlin, Augsburg, and Tokyo. For more information, visit: www.germanbionic.com.

The Apogee powered exoskeleton by German Bionic
Combining human intelligence with machine power, the Apogee exosuit is designed to support and optimize workers through lifting and walking augmentation. With years of real-world use, our active power suits are an unobtrusive companion to workers performing labor-intensive, manual handling tasks.
The Apogee robotic exoskeleton was developed for industrial use in sectors like logistics, intralogistics, and warehousing. It provides ergonomic support to reduce strain and prevent injuries by assisting workers with lifting and carrying heavy loads. Fully connected, the Apogee continuously collects and analyzes data, enabling bidirectional feedback that enhances worker safety and productivity. Its connectivity also allows for over-the-air (OTA) software updates, ensuring the system remains up to date to maintain peak performance and operational efficiency.
BENEFITS
– Hybrid automation: Integration of manual workplaces into digital processes
– Smart augmentation: Relieves up to 36 kg (80 lbs) per lift
– Use cases: Activities such as lifting and carrying, loading and unloading or constant work in a bent posture
– Real-time data: Networking with data insight platforms for analysis and monitoring
– AI-based: Learns with every use
– Motivation via display & app: Gamification and recommendations for ergonomic measures
– Prevention of work-related musculo- skeletal disorders (MSD)
– Maximum safety thanks to unique closed housing design
– Protection against accidents at work
– Completely dust and waterproof
